Crew Management

Our seafarers are the heart of LLSM and the driving force behind every successful voyage. We invest in their well-being and professional growth through structured career paths, advanced digital training platforms and dedicated mental-health support.

From a cadet’s first day at sea to the moment they achieve the rank of Master or Chief Engineer, we provide a clear pathway for career progression. This journey is supported by continuous learning—combining our Ocean Learning platform, simulator-based training and hands-on mentorship—so that every crew member can develop the skills and confidence required for the next step.

Technical Management

The Technical Management division of LLSM is built upon decades of maritime engineering excellence. Staffed with seasoned marine engineers, naval architects, and former seafarers, our team ensures that each vessel under our care operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with international regulations.
We employ advanced planned maintenance systems that allow for predictive and preventive maintenance, reducing downtime and optimizing vessel availability. Our engineers monitor engine performance remotely, detecting potential issues before they escalate, and implementing cost-effective solutions in real-time.

Our capabilities include:

  • Newbuilding supervision from design approval to delivery

Training

Our Ocean learning platform is available free of charge to all LLSM crew and staff, offering a wide range of courses from safety drills to leadership training. Beyond digital learning, we conduct hands-on sessions at ISO 9001-certified Training Centers, featuring state-of-the-art bridge and engine room simulators.

Training programs include:

  • IMO STCW-compliant courses in navigation, engineering, and safety management
  • Simulator-based exercises replicating real-world operational challenges
  • Onboard mentorship for cadets and junior officers
